About 20 flights from a string of airlines will be re-routed over the Philippines between Thursday and Monday, when North Korea is scheduled to launch a rocket, according to the Associated Press.

Among the airlines affected: Delta Air Lines, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Philippine Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, and Cebu Pacific.

Floramel Joy Songsong, a spokeswoman for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, told the AP that the agency will shut down three northeastern air corridors on the days when the launch might happen. That means diverted flights will last another 20 minutes.

Japanese carriers JAL and ANA will have four and five daily flights affected, respectively, according to the AP.

Airline official Norio Higashimine told the wire service that each flight will carry more fuel in the event it has to change its route unexpectedly.
