Man reunited with ring eaten by cow

An Australian man was reunited with his lost wedding ring three years after a cow sucked it off his finger during a visit to a tourist dairy.

Butcher Duane Thomas discovered Adam Haxhi's ring inside the stomach of one of farmer Will Jelbart's cows.

Remembering that a farm visitor reported a calf in the nursery sucking the ring off his finger all those years ago, Jelbart set about finding the owner.

The gold ring was engraved with a date but not the owner's name. He checked the farm's visitor records but had no luck, so he turned to the media for help.
