Man robs a string of Maryland banks by claiming to have a NUCLEAR weapon

Prince George’s County police are on the lookout for a man they believe has committed a string of bank robbieries by threatening to detonate a nuclear weapon.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspect, who they believe has robbed at least four banks in the county since late December.

The most recent robbery occurred Monday morning at the M&T Bank branch in the 6300 block of Kirby Road in Clinton. The suspect walked into the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money, according to police. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
